Stone Island was founded in 1982 near Modena. In 1993, Carlo Rivetti took full ownership of the brand. Its collections are always characterized by unexpected combinations of dyeing techniques and materials used. This ensures that every collection stands out, making the brand extremely popular today.

Stone Island is not only known for its innovative clothing treatments but also for its iconic logo patch. The patch, featuring a compass design, is always found on the left sleeve or the left leg of pants, making it instantly recognizable.
